We are excited to offer an opportunity for an energetic and diligent Warehouse Assistant in Andover, working on behalf of our prestigious client. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse, focusing on activities from picking and packing orders to loading and unloading deliveries. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in supporting the logistics and supply chain operations, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Picking Customer Orders: Accurately select and prepare products based on specific customer requirements. Utilise handheld scanners and follow detailed instructions to ensure order accuracy and efficiency.
Packing Orders: Carefully pack goods, ensuring they are securely prepared for shipping and delivery. Attention to detail is paramount to prevent damage and ensure customer satisfaction.
Loading and Unloading Vans: Efficiently load and unload goods from delivery vans, using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment. Ensure timely handling to support the smooth flow of warehouse operations.
Labelling Products: Apply labels accurately to various products for easy identification, tracking, and stock management. This is crucial for maintaining organized inventory systems.
Unloading Containers: Assist in the unloading of containers received from suppliers or other warehouses. This includes sorting and distributing goods for storage or immediate dispatch.
Stock Taking: Participate in regular stock checks and update inventory records. Report any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize losses.
Ad Hoc Duties: Perform additional tasks and support other areas of the warehouse operation as required. Flexibility and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 15:00
