Key responsibilities:
- Safely drive an HGV Class 1 curtain side vehicle across deliveries in and around Cardiff
- Complete 1-4 deliveries per shift, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs
- Perform checks on the vehicle before and after shifts to maintain safety standards
- Assist with loading and unloading goods as required, using equipment safely
- Follow all company policies, traffic regulations, and health & safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers to resolve any issues
Candidate requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence with CPC and current driver’s hours digital tachograph card
- Proven experience driving curtain side lorries in a distribution or logistics environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to vehicle safety and maintenance
- Ability to start early between 05:00 – 08:00 and work independently
- Excellent timekeeping and professional attitude
