Key responsibilities:
Safely operate HGV 2 vehicles adhering to all road safety and legal requirements
Deliver goods efficiently on trunking and multi-drop routes, ensuring timely arrivals
Perform daily vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle
Load and unload goods where required, ensuring accuracy and care for cargo
Maintain accurate delivery records and complete paperwork in line with company policies
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues
Demonstrate professionalism and excellent customer service at all times
Requirements:
Valid HGV 2 licence with CPC qualifications
Proven experience in trunking and multi-drop driving roles
Ability to work flexibly on day or night shifts
Strong knowledge of UK road regulations and health and safety standards
Excellent time management and organisational skills
