Are you looking for a new role in the recycling industry? Aligra is currently recruiting for a Bailer Operator to work in Bristol, Avonmouth
Our client is a leading recycling plant looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to operate the bailer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the bailer machinery to compress and package recyclable materials.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and ensure that the machinery is in good working condition.
- Sort and separate recyclable materials in preparation for processing.
- Load and unload materials onto the baler machine.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in operating a bailer or similar machinery is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and repetitive environment.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to spot defects.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the recycling industry.
Working Hours:
- This role is 0700-1730 Monday to Friday,
- Daily overtime available from 0600-0700 at time and one half.
- Saturday overtime available if desired.
Salary: £12.50ph
