We are currently recruiting for a Production Line Operative at Avonmouth to join our client’s team.
As a Production Line Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring that meats are prepared and packaged according to the company’s standards. You will be working on the production line, putting meat onto the line ready to be cut and packaged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adding meats onto the production line ready to be cut and packaged.
- Ensure that the meat is within containers and that labels are appropriately stuck onto the package.
- Take packages off the production line and push meats into the appropriate chute.
- Ensure that the line is running smoothly and report any issues to the line supervisor.
- Work in a repetitive working environment and meeting daily production targets.
- Work in a cold environment
Shifts:
- Morning shift from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Afternoon shift from 3:00 pm to 00:30 am
Salary:
- Morning shift is £11.50 per hour
- Afternoon shift is £13 per hour
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a similar role is essential.
- Ability to work in a repetitive environment and meet daily production targets.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
