Key responsibilities:
- Safely drive refuse collection vehicles on designated routes around Bridgwater and Somerset
- Collect household waste and recycling efficiently, following health and safety procedures
- Ensure waste is sorted correctly and vehicles are maintained in clean, serviceable condition
- Liaise with team members and supervisors to report any issues or missed collections
- Follow company and regulatory guidelines to ensure safe operations and customer satisfaction
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Refuse Driver or similar driving role preferred
- Valid driving licence suitable for refuse vehicle category
- Excellent timekeeping and commitment to Monday to Friday, 06:15 – 14:45
- Ability to work safely outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong team player with good communication skills
