Our client is on the hunt for enthusiastic Food Production Operatives, ready to join their dynamic afternoon shift team. If handling sliced pork and chicken with expert precision excites you, then this opportunity is tailor-made for you!

Since its founding in 2003, the company has grown to employ 230 talented staff and boasts a turnover exceeding £50 million. With operations running five days a week, they have the impressive capacity to process 40 tonnes of cooked meats daily, establishing themselves as a cornerstone in the UK’s food scene.
Salary: £15.00 per hour during the first 12 weeks. After that, the earnings move to a piece rate – slicers can earn between £15 and £30 per hour based on their slicing prowess.
Shifts:
- Afternoon shift: 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm
- Monday to Friday
Join the team as a slicing maestro, where your role will be to skillfully handle and slice pork and chicken, ensuring each piece meets the highest quality standards our customers have come to expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Slice and pack pork and chicken with precision, ensuring impeccable quality and meeting exact customer specifications.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols as part of your daily routine.
- Collaborate effectively with your team to achieve production targets.
- Ensure equipment is well-maintained and promptly report any issues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork-oriented.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with an eye for detail.
