Are you an experienced HGV Driver looking for an exciting new opportunity in Cardiff? Do you have a proven track record and a desire to work with a reputable business? We are currently seeking Class 1 HGV Drivers, Class 1 HGV Trampers, and HIAB Drivers to join our client’s team. This is the perfect opportunity for individuals who have previously worked for companies like Fuel Drivers UK LTD, Tesco, Moran Logistics, or in similar environments, and are looking for ongoing work with a trusted logistics company.
Pay Rates:
- Weekday Days: £14.76 per hour
- Weekday Nights: £16.45 per hour
- Weekend Days: £17.15 per hour
- Weekend Nights: £18.65 per hour
- Bank Holidays: £18.65 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficient Deliveries and Collections: You will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections , ensuring that all goods arrive safely and on time.
- Operate HIAB Vehicles: For those qualified, operating HIAB vehicles will be part of your role.
- Daily Vehicle Checks: Conduct thorough daily vehicle checks and promptly report any issues to ensure smooth operations and maintain the highest standards of vehicle safety.
- Collaborate with Depot Team: Work closely with the depot team to meet delivery deadlines and uphold high service standards, fostering a culture of teamwork and professionalism.
- Accurate Documentation: Accurately complete all delivery notes, timesheets, and any other relevant paperwork.
- Tramper Responsibilities: For trampers, overnight stays may be required to support longer-distance deliveries, showcasing your flexibility and commitment to the role.
Requirements:
- Valid Licences: A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence is essential, and a HIAB certificate is required if applying for the HIAB role.
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card: Hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card to ensure compliance with driving regulations.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in a similar HGV driving role, highlighting your readiness to excel in this position.
- Licence Points: No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD, DR, or IN convictions.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills and a professional approach to foster positive interactions with colleagues and clients.
