Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Shipment Management:
- Receive, collate, and record details of inbound shipments into internal documents.
- Maintain accurate records of all inbound shipments and related documentation.
- Supply clearance instructions to agents and provide booking slots for efficient handling of goods.
Customs Clearance:
- Input all shipment and customs details into the Daybook, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Transfer relevant details through set-up templates to the Customs system.
- Re-check all details prior to customs submission, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Submit entries to customs and follow up on clearance processes.
Stock Management:
- Check stock levels and resolve discrepancies between the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and
- Customs system.
- Conduct regular stock checks and maintain updated inventory records.
Communication:
- Engage in direct communication with customers, transport agents, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth shipment processes.
- Provide timely updates and feedback to stakeholders regarding shipment statuses and any issues encountered.
Requirements:
- Administrative background with a strong track record of managing detailed documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
