Job Description

Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with strong administrative skills? Do you have a passion for logistics and ensuring seamless operations? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Aligra, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Administrator to join our client’s dynamic team based in Coventry.

Key Responsibilities:

Inbound Shipment Management:

  • Receive, collate, and record details of inbound shipments into internal documents.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inbound shipments and related documentation.
  • Supply clearance instructions to agents and provide booking slots for efficient handling of goods.

Customs Clearance:

  • Input all shipment and customs details into the Daybook, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Transfer relevant details through set-up templates to the Customs system.
  • Re-check all details prior to customs submission, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Submit entries to customs and follow up on clearance processes.

Stock Management:

  • Check stock levels and resolve discrepancies between the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and
  • Customs system.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and maintain updated inventory records.

Communication:

  • Engage in direct communication with customers, transport agents, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth shipment processes.
  • Provide timely updates and feedback to stakeholders regarding shipment statuses and any issues encountered.

Requirements:

  • Administrative background with a strong track record of managing detailed documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
