HGV Class 2 Driver – Hinckley
£15 per hour /No Weekend work/Covering for at least 8 weeks
Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a hands-on, physical role in Hinckley? Join Aligra’s client and play a key part in delivering and collecting rubbish bins for a major logistics company. If you enjoy being active and making a real impact, this job is for you.
What you’ll do:
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely bin deliveries and collections
- Deliver and collect rubbish bins on schedule, handling bins manually
- Load and unload bins safely at each location
- Complete delivery paperwork and keep accurate records
- Communicate professionally with site staff and customers
- Follow all health and safety regulations and report incidents promptly

What you’ll need:
- At least 2 years’ HGV Class 2 driving experience
- Valid UK licence (max 6 points), CPC, and Digi Tacho
- Physically fit and happy with manual work
- Good written and spoken English
- Strong knowledge of EU driving laws
- Able to work independently and follow health and safety standards
