Class 2 Driver – Leicester
Weekly wage £629 (based on £15.74/hr, 40 hours/week)

Are you an experienced Class 2 HGV driver looking for a rewarding new role in the Leicester area? Join a professional team operating refuse lorries across various local routes, including collections of food waste bins around Lincolnshire. With regular shifts Monday to Friday, 04:00 to 13:30, plus potential overtime to boost your earnings, this role offers stability and variety in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Safely drive and operate refuse lorries, adhering to all safety protocols
  • Collect refuse and food waste bins across local routes efficiently and on schedule
  • Maintain vehicle condition and report any safety concerns promptly
  • Deliver excellent customer service while working professionally across residential areas

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid UK HGV Class 2 licence held for at least 6 months
  • Minimum of 90 days Class 2 driving experience within the last 6 months, ideally in waste collection
  • Digital tachograph and CPC card
  • Commitment to safety and a professional work ethic
  • Adaptable to a fast-changing work environment
  • Waste & recycling experience advantageous but not essential
