Aligra Melksham
We are pleased to be offering HGV1 day shifts on behalf of our client in the Melksham area which would be perfect for an experienced driver looking for additional work.
The role will be starting immediately and will have various shifts available for the right candidate.
Duties:
Delivery of general haulage.
Delivery of palletised goods, which are unloaded at customer premises’ using the forklift.
Completing daily safety checks on vehicles
Strapping of loads to lorry to ensure safety when driving
Requirements:
Previous experience in general haulage delivery is essential
Previous use of a tail-lift, curtain side deliveries and strapping loads.
Safety Shoes and Hi-Viz required for work
Pay: HGV1 (Days) – £14.75 per hour
Hours of work: 7am to 5pm (approx finish time)
This position will involve working day shifts on either an ad-hoc or regular basis, which can be 1-5 shifts per week. You will complete deliveries and collections using a HGV1 vehicle with a tail-lift and curtains.
