Our client based in Gatwick are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team on a full-time, permanent contract.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our client’s warehouse operations. You will take on various tasks including Picking and Packing, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy in every aspect of your work.
Pay:
- £12.21 to £14.96 per hour
Shift:
- Days and Nights Available
- Sunday – Thursday & Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertly pack items into suitable packaging materials, adhering to specific guidelines to prevent damage during transit. Your role in quality control is crucial to ensure that only the finest products reach our customers, enhancing their experience and trust in our services.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of the goods received and dispatched. This involves verifying the quality and quantity of deliveries against purchase orders and promptly reporting any discrepancies to the relevant personnel.
- Precisely apply labels to packages, ensuring clear identification for efficient sorting and delivery. Your attention to detail is key to avoiding any confusion or misplacement of items, which can impact delivery schedules.
- Ensure that the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and organised at all times. Duties include sweeping, removing debris, and disposing of waste materials following company protocols, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial
- A full valid Driving Licence is beneficial
