We are looking for 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join our client based in Sunbury!
This role demands a high level of professionalism, commitment, and attention to detail to maintain the outstanding service delivery for which our client is renowned.
Pay:
- £15.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest standards of safety while operating 7.5 tonne vehicles. Secure all loads properly to prevent damage during transit, ensuring that every delivery reaches its destination in perfect condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service, liaising with customers during deliveries to ensure satisfaction.
- Address any queries or concerns professionally, representing our client with excellence.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Report any issues or maintenance needs promptly to ensure the vehicle remains in excellent working order.
- Accurately complete all necessary delivery paperwork, including timesheets, delivery notes, and incident reports. Comply with all transport regulations and company policies.
- Be flexible and willing to assist with additional duties as required. Collaborate effectively with the logistics team to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- A valid HGV Class 2 licence, full Digi Cards, and CPC.
- A maximum of 6 points on your licence.
- Good communication skills are necessary for effective coordination with the team.
- Understanding of the Working Time Directive is essential to ensure compliance.
