Aligra is recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives for our prestigious client, a leading logistics company based in Sunbury-On-Thames. Please note: This position is based in a chilled/freezer environment. If you’re unfazed by the cold and enjoy a brisk pace, you’ll fit right in.
Position Details:
- Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Friday
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Overtime: Available at attractive rates
Pay Rate:
- £12.73 per hour; overtime paid at £19.10 per hour (time and a half after 37.5 hours)
Your Responsibilities:
- General warehouse duties
- Manual handling and some heavy lifting (time to show off those muscles!)
- Accurate picking and packing of goods
- Efficient sorting and wrapping of products
- Moving products safely throughout the warehouse
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment (essential)
- Experience working in a chilled/freezer setting (advantageous)
- Ability to pass two drug and alcohol tests prior to starting
- Reliable, enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic
- Positive, can-do attitude and physically fit for the demands of the job
