We are looking for Drivers Mates to join our client based in Theale on a full-time, permanent role.
As a Drivers Mate, you will be a key player in ensuring the efficient and smooth delivery of goods to our valued customers. Working alongside a professional van driver, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of furniture and other home essentials across Reading, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction with every drop.
Pay:
- £12.70 per hour
Shift:
- 06:00am Starts
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime Available
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the van driver to ensure a seamless delivery process, maintaining clear communication throughout the journey.
- Safely assist in the delivery of furniture and other home essentials, ensuring goods are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Provide friendly and professional service to customers, ensuring a positive delivery experience.
- Engage in lifting and manual handling of heavy items, adhering to health and safety guidelines and using proper techniques to manage loads.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to handle physical tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Keen eye for detail to ensure accurate assembly and delivery processes.
- Maintain a professional demeanour while representing our client’s brand.
