Our client based in Weybridge are looking to hire Van Drivers to join their team!
As a Van Driver, you will be at the forefront of delivering excellence across the nation. Your primary responsibility will be conducting multi-drop deliveries, ensuring that each consignment reaches its destination safely and on time.
Pay:
- £13.47 – £15.52 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute 5 to 10 multi-drop deliveries daily, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Provide exceptional service with a friendly and professional attitude at every delivery point. Address customer queries promptly and ensure a positive customer interaction that upholds our client’s reputation for excellence.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly. Adhere strictly to traffic and safety laws, prioritising the safety of yourself and others on the road.
- Accurately complete all required delivery paperwork, ensuring all delivery notes, timesheets, and other documentation are maintained to a high standard to support seamless logistics operations.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the logistics team to provide updates on delivery status, report any incidents or delays, and ensure alignment on daily operational goals.
Requirements:
- Valid UK Driving Licence: Must hold a full UK driving licence with no major endorsements, ensuring compliance with road safety standards.
- Previous experience in van driving is essential, with a proven track record of reliable and professional service delivery.
- A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure accurate deliveries and documentation.
- Ability to think on your feet, resolve issues independently, and adapt to changing situations effectively.
