Our client in Gloucester is looking for HGV 2 drivers on an ongoing assignment.
The role will be starting immediately.
Duties:
- Delivery of General Haulage items
- Collection of palletised goods for storage
- Completing daily safety checks on vehicles
- Strapping of loads to lorry to ensure safety when driving
Requirements:
- Previous experience in general haulage delivery
- Previous use of a tail-lift
- Previous experience in curtain side deliveries
- Previous experience in strapping loads
- Safety Shoes and Hi-Viz required for work
Pay: HGV 2 (Days) – £16 per hour
This position will involve working day shifts on an ongoing basis. You will complete deliveries and collections using a HGV 2 vehicle with a tail-lift and curtains. There will be times you will be required to handball the goods off using a pump truck and tail-lift, at sites with a forklift they will unload your vehicle for you.
