Our client in Witney is looking for a HGV Class 2 driver. This opportunity is a permanent role with the ability to start immediately following passing assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the HGV with Moffett attachment responsibly, ensuring the secure and timely delivery of goods to customers while adhering to all road safety regulations.
- Act as the frontline representative of the company, delivering a high level of customer service.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers to resolve any queries or issues promptly.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the HGV is in a safe and roadworthy condition. Report any defects or issues to the supervisor immediately to maintain high vehicle safety standards.
- Safely load and unload goods using the Moffett, ensuring all items are securely fastened and protected during transit. Handle goods with care to prevent damage, ensuring the highest quality service delivery.
- Efficiently plan and organize delivery routes to maximize productivity while ensuring timely arrivals.
- Adapt routes as necessary to meet changing conditions and deadlines.
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation, including delivery notes and collection receipts.
- Ensure all required paperwork is collected and signed upon delivery or collection to maintain precise records.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and safe handling practices. Report any incidents or accidents immediately to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
- With entitlement to drive HGV vehicles and no major endorsements.
- Previous experience driving HGV vehicles, preferably with Moffett operations experience.
- Good understanding of the road networks in the Witney area to navigate efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery and collection processes.
- Excellent organisational skills necessary for effective time management and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.
Pay & Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00am-17:00am
- £35,000 per annum
