What you’ll be doing:
- Check lorries in and out efficiently and accurately, ensuring smooth site access
- Communicate clearly with drivers, site staff, and management to coordinate arrivals and departures
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and documentation
- Monitor and report any issues or discrepancies promptly to site supervisors
- Enforce site safety and security protocols at the gatehouse
- Assist with general site enquiries and provide excellent customer service
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or gatehouse roles preferred but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and stay alert during long shifts
- Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to weekend working
- Basic IT skills to log vehicle details accurately
