Our client based in Derby is looking for Refuse Drivers (HGV 2) on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-known waste management company. The role is solely Monday-Friday, but offers great overtime opportunities.
The role will be starting immediately.
Duties:
- Responsibilities will be to complete daily vehicle checks, collect household and commercial waste from a range of customers in HGV 2 vehicles. You will be required to safely operate refuse collection vehicles and any associated equipment.
- Safely operating the vehicle
- Safe and considerate driving around local streets
- Collecting and loading bins onto the vehicle to be emptied
Requirements:
- Hold a valid HGV 2 driving licence.
- Hold a UK Digi Card
- Hold a UK CPC Card
- Safety shoes and Hi Vis are required for all temporary workers with no set uniform required.
Pay: From £15.08 per hour.
Shifts: Monday to Friday 06:00 starts. (With an average working week of 40 hours)
