Aligra Andover
We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Forklift Driver to join our client’s team in Andover. As a Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the production line by ensuring the timely and accurate supply of materials and products using a forklift.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials and products within the production facility.
Safely and efficiently move materials and products from storage areas to the production line to ensure continuous workflow.
Perform routine checks on the forklift to ensure its proper functioning and report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing materials to verify quantities and quality.
Assist in the organisation and inventory management of the warehouse to ensure optimum utilisation of space and easy retrieval of materials.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritise tasks and meet production deadlines.
Follow specific instructions and guidelines for handling hazardous materials, fragile items, or other specialised products.
Requirements:
Valid and up-to-date forklift operator certificate or license.
Proven experience as a forklift driver in a similar production or warehouse environment.
Monday to Thursday- 13:15- 22:00
