Aligra Andover
Aligra has partnered with a leading logistics company in Andover to recruit a skilled and dedicated Configuration Engineer. As a Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for processing all service orders through the department efficiently and quickly, working closely with the Senior Configuration Engineer. You will be expected to follow documented standard processes and take ownership of each job you work on.
Key Responsibilities:
Process hardware and software configurations for server and client orders.
Perform operating system installations.
Conduct asset tagging of all machines.
Perform DOA (Dead on Arrival) boot up.
Collaborate with the sales contact to ensure detailed communication and direction for the order.
Communicate effectively with management to achieve the objectives of the company.
Ensure compliance with company policies and objectives.
Compile, review, and maintain data from config orders and other documents in line with ISO accreditation.
Report any staff non-compliance with company rules to your Manager or Supervisor.
Maintain high standards of operation, health and safety, and quality within the Configuration department.
Process and complete configuration orders according to documented procedures, including hardware builds, software installations, and pre-delivery inspections.
Provide assistance or direction to other warehouse workers.
Complete other duties as assigned by the Configuration Supervisor or Configuration Manager.

Salary: £13.51 – £14.08
Key Skills:
Previous experience in an IT configuration/computer building role or IT hardware education and qualifications.
Excellent organizational and management skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Positive attitude and team player.
Good knowledge of Microsoft and mail packages.
Ability to work well with other departments within logistics and services.
