Are you ready to make a difference in your local community while enjoying a flexible work schedule? Aligra, on behalf of our client, is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Refuse Loaders to join the local authority team in Andover. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are looking to work between 1 to 5 days per week, with an immediate start available!

Key Responsibilities

  • As a Refuse Loader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of residential areas.
  • Safely and effectively load refuse bins onto the truck, ensuring all waste is securely transported.
  • Collect waste and refuse from residential properties across the community, adhering to collection schedules and routes.
  • Work collaboratively with your team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and on time. Communication and cooperation are key to success in this role.
  • Ensure that any missed bins are logged correctly and reported to the appropriate team members to maintain service accuracy.

Pay: £13.40 per hour

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 06:30 AM to 15:00/16:00 PM

What We’re Looking For:

  • Physical fitness, the role requires the ability to perform manual labour, including lifting and loading bins throughout your shift.
  • Team player, ability to work harmoniously within a team, demonstrating effective communication and cooperation skills.
  • Attention to detail, ensure accuracy in logging missed bins and reporting issues to maintain high service standards
