HGV Class 1 Driver

This role involves driving Class 1 lorries delivering supermarket and general haulage loads across South Wales and surrounding regions. Both day and night shifts are available, working a 4 on/off rota, offering excellent work-life balance.

What you’ll be doing:

• Safely operating HGV Class 1 vehicles to deliver supermarket and general haulage goods
• Loading and unloading stock at customer sites as required
• Ensuring all deliveries are made on time and paperwork is completed accurately
• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any issues promptly
• Following company and road safety regulations at all times
• Communicating effectively with the logistics team and customers to maintain smooth operations
• Supporting night or day deliveries depending on shift patterns

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Class 1 HGV licence with CPC and Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
• Proven experience in supermarket/general haulage deliveries preferred
• Good knowledge of the Bridgend area and surrounding routes
• Excellent time management and a professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts on a 4 on/4 off rota
