What you’ll be doing:

• Safely operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle for RDC and depot deliveries around Burton and surrounding areas
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely parcel delivery and collection
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues promptly
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records in line with company policies
• Adhere strictly to Health & Safety and transport regulations at all times
• Provide excellent customer service when representing the parcel distributor
• Communicate effectively with the depot and management team regarding schedules and deliveries

Days: £18.91

Nights: £20.28

This role uses rolled-up holiday pay. A holiday pay uplift of 12.07% is included in your hourly rate and paid with each regular salary payment. You will not receive a separate payment for holiday entitlement when it is taken, and this will be itemised on your payslip

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in parcel distribution or similar driving roles preferred
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexible availability for day or night shifts
