What you’ll be doing:

• Operating HGV vehicles to move trailers safely around the yard and on local deliveries
• Conducting thorough vehicle and trailer checks to ensure all are roadworthy and compliant with safety standards
• Strapping down goods securely to prevent movement during transit
• Maintaining accurate records of vehicle condition and any incidents
• Assisting with additional duties as required to support yard and transport operations
• Communicating effectively with yard supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth logistics flow

Sunday to Thursday: 22:00 – 07:30

What we’re looking for:

• Valid HGV licence with relevant endorsements to operate shunter vehicles
• Proven experience in a similar HGV shunter or yard driver role
• Strong focus on health and safety standards and vehicle maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
