Key responsibilities:
- Drive Class 1 HGV container vehicles safely and efficiently
- Collect containers from Southampton Docks and deliver them to scheduled locations
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Complete all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately
- Communicate effectively with the transport team and clients to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere strictly to all road safety and company policies
Assist with other duties as required to support the team
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 HGV licence with CPC and digital tachograph card
- Proven experience driving container vehicles or similar HGV roles
- Knowledge of UK road regulations and health & safety standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Pay: From £17.50 per hour
