Key responsibilities:
- Safely drive a 3.5T van to deliver catering supplies to shops and restaurants across the UK
- Manage between 8 to 20 deliveries daily, ensuring accuracy and timeliness within set delivery windows
- Use manual handling techniques and sack trucks to unload stock – physical fitness is essential
- Maintain the cleanliness of your vehicle and report any mechanical or safety issues immediately
- Follow all health and safety procedures to keep yourself and others safe during deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to provide updates and resolve queries
What we’re looking for:
- Valid UK driving licence with entitlement to drive a 3.5T vehicle
- Proven experience in delivery driving, preferably within logistics or catering supplies
- Physically fit to handle manual unloading of stock using sack trucks
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
