Yard Operative – Bristol (Avonmouth) – Early Shifts.
Are you looking for a hands-on role with a reputable company based in Avonmouth? Aligra is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client for a Yard Operative to join their busy waste warehouse team.
This position is ideal if you are physically fit, reliable, and keen to play a key role in safe chemical disposal. You’ll work early shifts Monday to Thursday, 06:00 – 17:00.

Your key responsibilities:
- Handle and dispose of chemicals and waste safely and in line with environmental regulations
- Perform daily manual handling and heavy lifting (physical fitness essential)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard and warehouse
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided)
- Assist with stock control and accurate waste disposal records
- Follow all safety procedures and risk assessments without exception
- Work collaboratively to meet daily operational targets
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in waste management, chemical handling or industrial yard work preferred but not essential (full training provided)
- Physically able to perform heavy lifting tasks safely
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious with good communication skills
- Willingness to work early shifts Monday to Thursday
