Aligra are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable Van Driver to deliver frozen meals directly to customers’ houses around Portbury and surrounding areas. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a vital service, ensuring people receive fresh, nutritious meals with care and efficiency.
Starting at 7am, you’ll be responsible for making 30-40 drops daily, maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to delivery schedules. If you’re organised, punctual and enjoy being on the road, this role could be perfect for you.

Key responsibilities:
Safely drive a company van to deliver frozen meals to residential addresses
Complete approximately 30-40 drops daily, adhering to the planned route and schedule
Handle frozen products carefully, ensuring they remain in optimum condition
Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures where necessary
Communicate effectively with the operations team regarding delivery issues or delays
Conduct basic vehicle checks before each shift to ensure safety and reliability
Uphold company standards for customer service at every delivery point
Requirements:
Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record
DBS check required due to customer-facing nature of the role
Ability to start work at 7am with flexibility for shift arrangements
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Experience with delivery driving, ideally with frozen or perishable goods
Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
