Logistics Controller – Swansea – Temp to Perm

Are you looking to join a leading logistics business with excellent career progression opportunities? We are currently recruiting a Transport Administrator to support our busy transport office. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm role with full training provided and an immediate start.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Processing transport and operational paperwork efficiently
  • Using an in-house software programme.
  • Data driving with basic fact finding skills
  • Face to Face interaction with customers who may call to site to collect parcels.
  • Producing and maintaining reports using Excel and internal systems
  • Managing Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation and resolving queries
  • Liaising with drivers, warehouse teams and customers to ensure smooth deliveries
  • Supporting the transport planning team with administration tasks

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in transport, logistics or supply chain administration is preferred.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and ability to work well under pressure
  • Coaching and Development is available for the correct candidate.
