We are looking for 2x van drivers, to join our client based on Brize Norton airfield, whilst it undergoes a major re-tarmacking project of the runway.
THIS ROLE IS TO START ON JULY 21ST PENDING RAF CLEARANCE TO BE ON SITE

- Both shift patterns are 10 days ON and 4 days OFF and repeat for the duration
- Minimum 3 months worth of work expected
- 1x 07:00 – 19:00 and 1x 09:00 – 19:00

Job Details
You will be responsible for safely escorting contractor HGV vehicles from entry gate, across roughly a quarter mile strip to their offload location. Oversee the offload and paperwork, escort them back to the exit gate and then join the queue of escort drivers waiting to pick up your next vehicle to be escorted.
Requirements
- Full oranges (trousers, tshirts, jacket, jacket can be undone when in vehicle but fully done up when stepping out)
- Hard hat, gloves and safety shoes.
- Previous experience driving a 3.5t van is necessary
- You must also be able to hold yourself in a professional manner when welcoming and dealing with contractors.
Due to working on RAF Brize Norton, you must be able to account for your last 5 years worth of work, and be willing to undergo a basic DBS check if you don’t already have a valid one.

Pay is £13.50 per hour on a 10 days on / 4 days off rotating pattern, with shifts of 07:00–19:00 or 09:00–19:00. This is a temporary contract with a minimum of 3 months’ work, starting 21 July (subject to RAF clearance).
