Job description
At Aligra, we are working with a well-known logistics business. This role initially will be based in Hinckley before it moves entirely over to Baginton, Coventry mid-June 2024.
Our client is currently seeking motivated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their team and cover various departments, including inbound, inventory, dispatch, and technological support.
Responsibilities:
- Picking parcels and assembling deliveries for customers using a scanner and computer system.
- Using scanning equipment to track inventory movements.
- Assist with inventory management and control.
- Perform regular inventory counts and audits .
- Update inventory records and databases.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Assist with resolving any discrepancies or issues with inventory.
- Personalization of tech products as per customer requirements.
- Sorting orders for dispatch to ensure timely delivery.
Requirements:
- Reliability and a strong work ethic, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm and a goal-oriented approach to meet targets.
- Proficiency in spoken & written English.
- Possession of a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
Shifts:
The following set shift patterns are available on a two-week rotation, Monday to Sunday, with two days of rest:
06:00 – 14:30
14:30 – 23:00
