What you’ll be doing:
- Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle on local and regional routes
- Load and unload goods using hand balling techniques
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report maintenance issues
- Adhere to all health and safety and driving regulations
- Communicate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience, with at least 3 months recent driving
- Valid Class 1 licence with CPC and digital tachograph card
- Good physical fitness for hand balling duties
- Strong knowledge of UK road safety and HGV regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to shifts
- Based in or near Leicester
