HGV Class 1 Driver – Leicester
Competitive pay £15.93 per hour (£637 per week based on 40 hours)

What you’ll be doing:
- Collecting waste from various customer sites across London and transporting it safely back to base
- Operating Class 1 HGV vehicles with walking floors efficiently and safely
- Maintaining high standards for vehicle upkeep, including cleaning trailers before each pickup
- Providing a professional and reliable waste management service to trade customers
- Adapting quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic working environment
- Complying with all health and safety regulations and company policies
What we’re looking for:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months
- Digital tachograph card and CPC card essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an HGV driver, preferably within waste and recycling or industrial
- environments
- Excellent professional work ethic and ability to work independently
- Experience with walking floors is an advantage but not essential
- Ability to deliver high standards of customer service and adapt to changing environments
