Job description
Our prestigious client in Swindon are looking for HGV Class 1 Day Drivers. We are looking for drivers to work anything between 1 to 5 days per week, so we can accommodate almost all working patterns that fit you.
If you are a driver who loves the physical side of deliveries and would enjoy moving motorbikes off vehicles this would be perfect for you! (If you’ve worked at Iceland or B&Q, you may just love this!)
We have driving assessments (paid) available immediately so would love to hear from you!
Duties:
Motorcycle deliveries to stores (Manual handling will be required)
Manoeuvring the motorcycles off of the lorry (full training will be provided)
This can include 2-3 nights out per week.
Driving in a safe, responsible manner on behalf of the client you are representing
Ensuring all paperwork and documentation is completed correctly
Follow driver working time directive at all times.
Requirements:
Hold Full UK Digi Cards
Good Knowledge of working time directive
Maximum of 6 points on your licence
Good communication skills
Held your Class 1 license for a minimum of 2 years
Pay:
£815.00 to £1120.00 per week (including night out allowances if required)
Minimum 9 hours paid per shift
