Pay & Shifts:
- From £16.00 to £20.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday (39 hours per week)
- 06:00am to 16:30pm (Early finish on Fridays)
Key requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience setting and operating CNC punch and press brake machines.
- Proven ability with folding equipment, spot welding and de-burring using manual and automated tools.
- Strong focus on quality assurance, safety and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and team player mindset.
Main responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC brake presses according to production orders.
- Load tooling and programmes correctly, ensuring product protection.
- Conduct ongoing quality assurance checks.
- Maintain clean, safe work areas and report health & safety concerns promptly.
- Train and mentor junior colleagues and trainees.
- Assist fabrication projects and materials handling where required.
