What you’ll be doing:
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the Exeter, Devon, and Torquay areas
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to maximise sales potential
- Conducting market research to understand customer needs and competitor activity
- Preparing and delivering engaging sales presentations and proposals to potential clients
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and timely order fulfilment
- Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Managing your own diary and planning customer visits effectively
- Providing accurate sales reports and forecasts to senior management
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Sales or Business Development Executive, preferably in food wholesale or FMCG sectors
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence decision-makers
- Self-motivated and target-driven with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work remotely and manage your own workload efficiently
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Familiarity with the Exeter, Devon, and Torquay regions is advantageous
