HGV 2 Drivers (Newly Passed Drivers Allowed)

Are you a newly qualified Class 2 HGV driver looking for a rewarding opportunity with a leading logistics provider? Our client, based near Plymouth, is recruiting reliable and motivated drivers for ongoing haulage assignments. What we offer:

• Competitive pay of £14.60 per hour (approx. £584 per week based on a 40-hour week)
• Flexible shifts working 5 to 7 days, including at least one weekend day
• Shift start times between 14:00 and 16:00

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver parcels safely and efficiently across designated routes in general haulage (Business to Business)
• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
• Operate pump trucks and tail lifts for loading and unloading parcels
• Adhere strictly to the driver working time directive and company policies
• Maintain clear communication with the logistics team and customers

Requirements:

• Must hold a full UK Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of the working time directive
• Maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving licence
• Strong communication skills and a responsible attitude
