Key responsibilities:
- Operate Class 1 shunter locomotives safely and efficiently
- Perform coupling and uncoupling of wagons following safety standards
- Conduct pre-shift safety checks and report defects promptly
- Follow all safety regulations and yard procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Maintain accurate records of shifts and movements
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Driver licence
- Shunting experience preferred but newly qualified drivers welcome
- Strong safety awareness and communication skills
- Reliable and committed to working Saturday nights
