East Yorkshire logistics provider Harrison Solway have taken delivery of six new curtainsider trailers from SDC, the first in a promising new relationship with the firm. The investment is part of a wider growth strategy from the logistics firm, which specialise in the transport of food, grocery, and general products across the UK.
Established over 20 years ago, Harrison Solway operates an extensive fleet of modern, state of the art vehicles to provide haulage, distribution and logistics services ranging from individual pallet consignments up to full trailer loads, along with a 10,000 pallet warehousing operation which is accredited to BRCGS, The Soil Association and is also a HMRC Bonded facility. The company is in the process of purchasing additional land to increase their warehousing capacity to 20,000 pallets due to growth and ongoing demand from current and new clients alike.
The logistics provider worked with SDC to develop a detailed specification in line with their diverse client requirements. The 4.4m tri-axle trailers were built to EN 12642-XL quality standard at SDCâs Mansfield factory and fitted with Haldex braking and roll stability system, ISO Regulation and LED lighting, GRP toolbox, protection buffers, sliding coupling box and low maintenance JOST landing legs. Custom printed curtains provide a striking and long-lasting finish featuring âDivine Chocolateâ, âCPD Directâ, âCartwright & Butlerâ and âFinlaysâ liveries.
