Haslington Haulage, the reputable general haulage firm, has acquired four new DAF XG+ 530 FTG 6X2 tractor units from Motus Commercials DAF. The procurement replaces older models in the fleet which now totals 6 trucks and 10 trailers, enhancing its operational capabilities, reliability, and driver comfort.
Supplied by Motusā Stoke-on-Trent dealership, the vehicles feature a plethora of premium specifications, including a DAB radio, a TV with a DVD player fitted above the driverās side cab panel, a microwave, and rubber and carpet floor mats. The 12-speed TraXon gearbox and MX-13, 390 kW/530 HP engine ensures top-of-the-line performance, while the Xtra Leather Air Driverās Seat and upper bunk offer optimal comfort for long-haul drives.
The livery was expertly supplied and fitted by Ginger Graphics Ltd, Crewe, while the DVS kit was installed by Auto Start in Fenton. The trucks come with DAF MultiSupport full R&M cover for 6 years, which includes all repairs, maintenance, legal inspections, MOT prep and fees, tachograph calibrations, access to the DAFCheck document management system, and UK national breakdown support.
