Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to complete 4-10 multi-drop deliveries daily
- Manage loading and unloading of goods efficiently, ensuring accuracy and care
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily safety checks
- Follow delivery schedules and routes as directed, adapting to traffic and weather conditions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth deliveries
- Assist with additional duties as required, supporting overall operational needs
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with digital tachograph card
- Proven experience in multi-drop delivery driving, preferably within Gloucester or nearby regions
- Strong knowledge of road safety and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional early starts or overtime
