As a Production Line Operative at our client’s facility in Avonmouth, you will play a crucial role in the production process of cooked meat products. Operating RTE (Ready-to-Eat) machines, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the production line while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Responsibilities
- Set up and operate RTE machines according to company guidelines and safety procedures.
- Monitor the production line to ensure smooth flow and identify any issues or malfunctions that may affect product quality or efficiency.
- Conduct routine quality checks on cooked meat products to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of raw and cooked meat.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the production team to achieve daily production targets and resolve any production-related issues.
- Accurately record production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and any quality issues encountered.
- Assist in the packing and labelling of finished products for shipment or distribution.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and provide suggestions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Participate in training programs and actively engage in ongoing learning to develop and expand your skills in the food processing industry.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in a production line operative role within the food processing industry is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and operate machinery in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good understanding of hygiene and safety regulations related to food processing.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing production demands.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as required.
Salary: £11.50 – £12.65 per hour

06:00am till 15:00pm
15.00pm till 00.30am
