Are you an experienced 3.5t Van Driver looking for a new opportunity in Avonmouth? Look no further! Aligra, on behalf of our client, is currently seeking motivated individuals to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues to the supervisor, ensuring the van is in a safe and roadworthy condition.
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery and collections to stores, maximizing productivity and meeting deadlines.
- Load and unload goods from the van, ensuring items are properly secured and protected during transportation.
- Complete paperwork accurately and ensure all necessary documentation is collected and signed upon delivery or collection.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with store personnel, resolving any queries or issues promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including the safe handling and transportation of goods, and report any incidents or accidents immediately.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license with Category B entitlement and no major codes.
- Driving assessment and theory test passed.
- Previous experience as a 3.5t Van Driver, preferably in a multi-drop environment.
- Good knowledge of road networks in the Avonmouth area.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and flexibility.
