HGV Refuse Driver / Loader – Bristol Area (Based in Yate)

Key responsibilities:
- Safely drive and operate an HGV collecting household recycling including plastics, cardboard, and black bin waste
- Work alongside the loader to ensure efficient, safe, and timely waste collection
- Conduct daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate route records and report any incidents promptly
- Assist with manual loading/unloading when needed
- Provide courteous customer service to residents on your route
What we’re looking for:
- Valid HGV licence with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in refuse collection or similar driving/loading roles is advantageous
- Willingness to commit to early starts and flexible Saturday overtime
- Good communication and a team-focused attitude
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards
