Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV vehicle to collect general household waste, recycling materials including cardboard and plastics, and black bins
- Follow strict health and safety guidelines at all times to protect yourself, colleagues, and the public
- Adhere to scheduled collection routes across Bristol, ensuring efficient and timely service
- Assist with loading and unloading waste containers when required
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and promptly report any vehicle defects or issues
What we’re looking for:
- Valid HGV licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in refuse collection or a similar driving role preferred
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility for Saturday overtime
- Good knowledge of the Bristol area or willingness to learn routes quickly
- Commitment to safety and excellent customer service
