What you’ll be doing:
- Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle safely and efficiently around Bristol
- Collecting household recycling including plastics, glass, and cardboard
- Following allocated routes and schedules accurately
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and environmental standards
- Reporting vehicle or route issues promptly
- Delivering excellent customer service to residents and businesses
What we’re looking for:
- Valid Class 2 driving licence with a good record
- Experience driving refuse or similar vehicles preferred but not essential
- Strong focus on safety and compliance with road laws
- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for occasional manual handling
- Positive attitude and ability to work well independently and in a team
- Knowledge of Bristol and surrounding areas an advantage
