We are currently seeking highly motivated and reliable individuals to join our client’s production team in Radstock.
As a Production Line Operative, you will play a crucial role in the packaging of food products at our client’s facility in Radstock. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the production of high-quality food items.
Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and equipment on the assembly line to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
- Monitor the production line to ensure products are being packaged correctly, following the established quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks on the packaged food items to identify any defects or issues, and report them to the supervisor.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of production lines for changeovers and maintenance tasks.
- Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals and resolve any production-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced, downtime, and any quality issues.
- Participate actively in training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to production processes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a production line or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and willingness to adhere to them.
- Flexible with working hours and able to work additional hours when required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
As a Production Line Operative, you will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality food products.
Hours:
- 7:00am-16:00pm standard hours
- Preferred if you are flexible to do other shifts when needed
- 6:00am till 14:00pm
- 14:00pm till 22:00pm
Salary: Up to £11.44 per hour, along with the potential for overtime and career progression opportunities.
